Objectives for Pharmacists
• Describe the pathophysiology, clinical signs and symptoms and transmission of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)
• Identify pediatric patient populations at risk for RSV
• Review indications for RSV prophylactic medications (palivizumab and nirsevimab)
• Discuss complications and challenges facing pharmacies and patients this RSV season
• Demonstrate how pharmacists can incorporate RSV prevention into practice
